The Perfect Height for Mischief

Now that I'm bigger and older, the world in front of me is exapanding exponetially. That means I can help mom and dad more. Unfortunately, Mom and Dad, or the "Committee of No" as I like to call them, are always harshing my mello:
  • "No Spencer, you can't put your toys in the garabage."
  • "No Spencer, you can't play in the dishwasher."
  • "No Spencer, we don't throw our food on the floor."
They never let me do anything.
Quite a bunch of changes in the past week. Instead of crawling, I am walking almost 100% of the time. Instead of knocking blocks down, I have been maticulously stacking them. Three more teeth came in this week - #s 10, 11, and 12 for those of you keeping score at home. Needless to say, I wasn't always in the best of moods at times during the week, but then again who would be if they had three little razors coming through their mouth. Overall, I am still a happy and perfect little boy.
Here are some videos of me exploring / helping (i.e. getting into trouble):
I can help clean cupboards and shelves:

Now that I am tall enough, this is perhaps my favorite activity: Cleaning off this table. Mom and dad just don't seem to understand that I don't want anything on this table. No matter, how many times I throw their books and magazines on the floor, they just keep putting them right back on there.

Here I am having fun in the bathroom...

Here I am exploring the garbage can. Lots of interesting smells and items in there. Basically, if it has a lid, door, or drawer, I like it.

I'm also a master of electronics. I especially like TV remote controls: Once, I almost successfully programmed the password lock on the TV, but Mom and Dad caught me before I could be type in a code. I did however press the right combination of buttons on the remote for a brand new TV to change the source from the cable to the DVD player before Mom or Dad new how to do it. It was fun watching Dad spend about 20 minutes to figure out how to get it back to cable. Here I am playing with the phone. Afterwards, the joke is on Mom and Dad when they grab the phone and realize that I may have called one of thier friends.

Road Trippin'

Hi everyone. I've had a busy day. Today, Saturday, I went grocery shopping with dad, helped with some cabinets, went on a walk and helped mom in the kitchen. I am really close to walking. Yesterday, I took two steps all on my own when moving between Mom and Dad. I'm crawling up and even down stairs really well lately. I've been eating lots of solid foods. Sometimes I eat an entire chicken breast for dinner. I also have been gorging myself on green beans for the last two weeks. I truly am full of beans.

I went up to C-town to hang with Grandma and Grandpa last weekend. It was a lot of fun. I went on a swing, played and entertained all with my dancing to the walker. Dad and Grandpa went golfing a couple of times, but I decided to hang back with the ladies. I checked out my treehouse and saw a deer walk through the backyard.

I had lots of fun playing in the kitchen...so many cupboards to explore. I also helped Grandpa install a hand vaccuum on the wall. Grandma's great - she let me take a bath in her sink, I drank water from a cup (a real cup, not a sippy cup). I also did something else in the sink, but there's no evidence of that so we aren't going to talk about it.

Here I am having fun in the bath.

Here I am drinking from a cup, all by myself.

I also helped Grandma reorganize her cabinets. Not only do I do the work of removing dishes from cabinets, I am more than willing to provide suggestions and advice...
