Basket Rides and Other Indoor Activities

Peeps be askin', "Spencer, how do you pass the time?", "What do you for fun" or to "chillax", if you will. Well, I've recently been actively participating in a number of indoor activities to help pass the time. Perhaps, one of my favorite activities are laundry basket rides. Dad ties a belt around the the handle of a laundry basket and pulls me around the race track in the house. I like them a lot; I have been known to demand one ride after another and another and another until I have run him into the ground. They are the most fun when the basket is full of friends, a blanket (aka, "bye") and as many puppies as possible.

Another favorite activity of mine is hiding from Mom and Dad. At first it was pretty simple, I would just hide and then jump out and say boo...

Since my outdoor home is inaccessible due to the snow, I have decided to annex all of the closets in the house as my own personal space. Be careful because I will ferociously defend my territory. I have been known to yell out "No" if I sense so much as an eye monitoring my activity and then will run and push anyone in the thighs until they leave the room. I stuff the closets full of my friends and just try to hang out the best I can.

What I do in the closet is my business, but sometimes I just break out into song...

I've even taken hiding on the stairs...

My other great find is piggy back rides. If an unsuspecting victim is sitting on the floor, I have been known to jump them from behind, wrap my arms around their neck and demand to be paraded around the house like an Egyptian pharaoh.

I also discovered, Mom and Dad purchased a backpack-esque contracption to carry me around. That is also a lot of fun. Just as Yoda rode Luke's back while training him in the swamps of Dagobah, I rest on dad's shoulders as he parades us around the house...giggling all the way.
