Spencer the Destroyer becomes Spencer the Engineer

Man, I'm glad it's the weekend. I'm so tired, I've been sleeping in to as late as 5:45-6:00 AM.

I just discovered that building things is almost as fun as knocking
them down. I am stacking blocks three high
(then knocking them down again). I
found some funny shaped blocks in the kitchen. Not only can I stack them (see video) there seems
to be some magic elixir inside that Mom enjoys (see pictures). I haven't figured
out how to get it out though.

I am measurably increasing the the proportion of walking to crawling everyday. I'm still much faster crawling but getting better at the bi-ped method of transportation. My biggest issue seems to be that I get too excited, start waving my arms like a cheerleader, then I lose by balance and fall down. Sometimes falling it is funny, sometimes not so much. Yesterday, I walked down the entire hallway all by myself. My interest in Biter Biscuits is waning, but I have tried and really enjoyed two new foods: ground beef and cottage cheese. I really like cottage cheese. It's just another addition to my plethera of dairy products. Soft foods like cottage cheese are nice, because it seems that I have three more teeth coming in this week (in addition to the one from last week)!

Off to create some mayhem.

Spencer: We enjoyed your trip to the zoo, learning about the variety of new foods you are eating, especially asparagus, and your climbing and engineering activities.

Way to go, Spencer. You have had quite a month!

Funny how the little dude knows just what to do with that can of pop:) Love how you caught it with pictures! He will appreciate it when he gets older:)

This is such a nice way to keep your family up to date!
