I'm Serious

Today I had an intense discussion with Dad regarding jokes and being serious. I easily determined anything that is funny or a wacky idea is a joke. The definition is "serious" however a little more difficult to grasp. Eventually I did figure it out - discussions about pickle cars is a joke; when Dad says I'm going to get a timeout for not behaving he's serious.

Upon grasping the definition my first statement was: "Dad, wipe my butt. I'm serious."

Seriously.
